Riverside Maple Farms grew from a family passion for being outside and collecting sweet sap from maple trees that grew on the family’s farm in the early spring months. Grown into its current size and business by Erica and Chris Welch, the farm has come to be known as a family-friendly destination in the Capitol Region by locals and visitors alike.
Situated on the west side of Schenectady county conveniently off of I-90, Riverside Maple Farms offers a year-round maple experience for visitors. Tours, tastings and treats are always on offer. Guests are invited to take a guided tour of the farm and learn how maple syrup is made from tree to table, as well as the history of maple making and the Welch family.
